We spent last weekend at this wonderful campsite. We stayed in E168. Power site, park front and beach front. Wonderful, my new favorite spot. We didn't have to pack up anything to head to the beach. It was only a few steps away. Firewood is $5 for a fairly large bundle but he was only around once Saturday night so we missed and out and had to drive about 10 minutes to buy wood. The store doesn't have much as far as food so if you forget something, you'll have to do without or drive in to Boyle. The lake was wonderful for boating and tubing. Had a great time.
Making reservations was an easy and enjoyable process:
Reception upon arrival at campground was a good experience. :
Cleanliness of boating, park and beach areas:
This camp ground was quiet and family friendly.:
This campground is what I was expecting prior to my arrival.:
Cleanliness of public areas :
I would return to this campground.:

Close proximity to a store and paintball park adds to the attractiveness.

We stayed in C-135, this is our favorite section of the park, it is right near the lake but still has lots of tree coverage for privacy, which is more important to us than the fact that there is no power in this section. We have never had a bad experience camping here, it is always quiet and family friendly. They have recently paved the path that surrounds the lake which is a bonus, there is a concession, boat rental, and on Saturdays there is a farmers market. Long Lake is a great place to spend a few days camping, I would highly recommend it.
