This was our 2nd trip to Miquelon and I must say that I was a little embarrassed to take friends down to the beach (because it was beautiful) because of the smell! It smells like an outhouse! Bathroom shower curtains had mold on them but rest of it was clean. linda: 4 night stay on 7/1/2012![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() online reservation is a complete waste of time, your better off calling, we booked 5 days and left on the 4th, campground itself is very nice, as well as showers and washrooms, store is outside the park, which is a big pain, our first night there, park rangers came out and told us to turn off the radio, which was not even loud enough to be heard in the next site, the lake was disgusting, smells like an outhouse which really put a damper on the outing, even the kids didnt want to swim in there, nice big park by the beach, but when your in B or C camps you have to drive there. Trails were nice too, but do not think we would ever return todd: 3 night stay on 6/14/2010![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We reversed online (wonderful program) for all our camping trips for the 2010 season. We'd never been here before and so was taking a chance with the site selection. When we arrived (thursday 4pm) we were surprised to see such a great campground. We were in an electic site A10. Site was clean, level, and well treed. The sites are somewhat close in the around we were in but further down in the next loop the sites are bigger and more private. The bathrooms with the showers were so clean. The outhouse bathrooms are abit dated but the shower/bathroom houses are close to anywhere so getting there is no problem. The only down side is that firewood is sold outside the park and very expense. 9.00 a bag (maybe 10 logs split once)..the wood was dry though! Dumping stations (4 of them) are ok as well.
