This site looks really good on paper. However, what isn't on paper is that this resort is 90%+ populated by seasonal renters, and these ones in particular are very prone to complaining. The few nightly sites that still exist (maybe about twelve of them)are located just off the beach between the kids' playground and the newest seasonal area. Most sites have power and water hookups and there is a sewage dump station onsite. However, the staff is very inconsistent with the rules, as they can be very rude to nightly campers but quite the opposite with their seasonal campers. The beach is manmade and sports a 3 foot deep band of quicksand down its center that is 10 feet wide and runs for half the beach, the swimming area is often hemmed in with boats their owners park but never use, and the boat launch itself is crowded beyond belief. The seasonal campers are very rowdy and there is no shortage of screaming children and barking dogs at all hours. The store is well-stocked with junk food but not on neceities, and what they do have is grossly overpriced, as is the firewood. Save your money and give this place a miss. By the way we stayed in site 20.
