Want to post a review about this campground Register and become a member for free David: 6 night stay on 8/6/2012![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We originally booked for a 6 day stay. During the first day we decided to cut our vacation short and asked the owner if we could get a refund for the 2 days we were leaving early. He said no problem. He tried to process the refund through the inter-ac machine but couldn't figure out how to make it work. He then asked us to return the next day. So we did, and this is when things changed. He then changed his story to "I can't refund you", citing reasons of the inter-ac company wont let him, and he can't provide a cash refund because "It would look bad to his employee's if cash can be paid out from the till". i made a phone call to the inter-ac provider, and found out that the owner is either a liar or doesn't know how to operate his inter-ac machine. All inter-ac machines are capable to provide refunds. (Sticker right on the front counter that says "All cancellations require 48 hours notice" which we gave more than enough time.)
Other notes worth mentioning are upon arrival to the campground, you are met with a huge pile of rubbish stacked up around the entrance area. Makes the area look like a land fill of sorts. In the mornings while you are eating breakfast, you get to be greeted by the owner running around on his ATV spraying a toxic cloud of insecticide into the air. The playgrounds are full of garbage, and the playground equipment are missing parts, swings etc, and are in need of repair. The bathrooms are nasty, best to use the facilities in your RV. The campground is right off the highway, so if quite is what your looking for, you wont find it here.
