Saskatchewan Camping Tips
Each province in Canada has unique reservation systems, laws and travel requirements. Here are some tips for travelling in Saskatchewan.
Ø National Park permits may be required for your destination.
Ø Provincial Fishing licenses may be required for your destination.
Ø In provincial parks, check out time is 12 noon and check in time is 2pm.
Ø Transporting firewood into or out of any provincial park is an offence.
Ø Fires are only permitted in government provided pits.
Ø The park determines the use of generators and may restrict hours of use.

Maximum trailer width: 2.6 meters (8 feet 5 inches)
Maximum trailer height: 4.15 meters (13 feet 6 inches)
Maximum trailer length: 12.5 meters (41 feet)
Vehicle combinations permitted (5th wheel combinations only)? Up to 3 vehicles total
Vehicle combinations permitted (non 5th wheel combinations)? Up to 2 vehicles total
Maximum combined length for 2 vehicles: 21.5 meters (71 feet)
Maximum combined length for 3 vehicles: 23 meters (75 feet 5 inches)
Lighting: Tail, brake, turn and license plate lights are required.
Brakes: Independent braking system required where gross weight exceeds 1,350kg (2,977lbs).
Safety chain(s) required: Yes
Other: The hitch must be connected by a safe clevis or catch. Ball hitches mounted on bumpers are allowed up to 1,400kg (3,087lbs).
